So, it begins. Tonight we hosted the first Informational Event of Longleaf Church. It turned out to be a great environment! The BRB rocked an awesome acoustic set and we watched an Andy Stanley message called everybody is included. It's so encouraging to know that we are aligned with North Point and that Andy's teaching will be a strategic part of Longleaf Church. The everybody message series speaks to the DNA of Longleaf Church. Jesus came for everybody because everybody needs redemption (Romans 3:22-23). It's our role to create a church culture where everybody can connect with us through relevant environments and then decipher clear next steps. In other words, it's our desire to plant a church that doesn't seem threatening or confusing for unchurched people. Our simple and profound focus is leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are about six months away from launching our church (wow). In these early days, we are seeking people that share our mission and vision for this revolutionary church. We are excited about the core team that has emerged to plant Longleaf Church and we look forward to connecting with the other families that will join us in this remarkable endeavor. We know the harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37) but we are ASKING BIG and we are living by BIG FAITH. There are exciting days on the horizon! We plan to channel our energy and momentum to our next Informational Event on Sunday, 3/22. Join us!
